The Trapped in the Unit Binder Cover features a fully lined zippered flap pocket, magnetic snap closure, interior zipper pocket, interior slip pocket, pen loops, and an accordion folder pocket. This binder cover will keep everything you need organized and easy to find! The pattern pieces are sized to hold a standard 1" Avery Binder (which measures 10 3/8” W x 11 5/8” H x 1 1/2” D). There is a worksheet on page 8 of the pattern to calculate the pattern piece sizes for other sized binders.

1 Yard vinyl, leather, cork, or other non-fraying material for Exterior (Two 18” x 54” rolls)
1/4 Yard waterproof canvas for Pocket Lining
1/4 Yard firm fusible stabilizer (Pellon Decovil Heavy 526 - 17” wide)
11” #5 zipper tape (main closure) with one zipper pull already attached
7 3/4” #5 zipper tape (interior zipper pocket) with one zipper pull already attached
Two (2) 18 mm Magnetic Snaps
4 1/2” length of 1/2” wide elastic (I prefer fold-over elastic)
1” Avery Binder
